Dwarven Forge Kickstarter

Launched today and already funded, Dwarven Forge’s game tiles Kickstarter is just too darn cool not to get behind!  Stefan Pokorny of Dwarven Forge has been creating 3D modular terrain for Dungeon delvers for 17 years, and is hoping to bring this newer line of affordable sets to a broader range of gamers.

Game Tiles is their new 25mm gaming terrain that is completely compatible with their classic, more expensive terrain but hopefully more affordable to the masses.  The tiles are made from a dense but strong, color-infused compound and reported to be nearly indestructible (video shows them striking the pieces with a hammer without them breaking).

They’re introducing “Game Tiles” on Kickstarter in order to fund the steel molds necessary to get the set into production.  By pledging $65 you get a set of dungeon gray tiles (14 walls, 12 floors, 6 corners & 2 swinging doors), but not any of the stretch goals.  As I mentioned in the beginning, this project has already funded after only starting this morning!  So if you want to get in on the stretch goals you need to pledge $120 or more.  Your $120 pledge already gets you 2 sets of dungeon gray tiles, shipped to you for free and 4 free additional Straight Walls for each set purchased (8 pieces).
